Basic Router = Basic Security
Most routers don't allow anything but the most basic control over your connection to the Internet. They don't log connections made by your staff and the sites that they visited and most importantly they don't log attempts to attack your network. This means that staff members can surf the inappropriate web sites on the net, hiding behind the anonymity of your company Internet connection without fear of being held responsible. Worse still the company could be held responsible for their actions.
